Wood macro photos - beautiful wooden structures and textures

I always had a fascination for wood. I love how it smells, looks and feels. Nearly every time I stroll through the forest with my camara I have to stop somewhere and capture an interesting wood closeup - the bark of a tree, a wooden surface, some interesting texture on a birch tree - you name it. All images are available as posters or prints, just click on one of the images or use links at the bottom of the page.
