When visiting beautiful Iceland in June I was amazed by the intensity of the colors. Fresh green grass on the meadows, blue lupin fields, overgrown lava fields with shades of brown, beige and black. When editing my shots (I brought back several thousand of them) I enjoyed the colorful scenes again and again. But then there were some days when the weather was really dull. So I did some black and white edits. And was hooked. Deep black and lucid white tones, endless shades of grey, stark contrasts. And it looks brilliant on the good weather pics too! Can't stop.
